Sustainable
We were recently rated by Ecovadis, an independent global sustainability auditor, and received a score of silver, placing us higher than 88% of the companies rated. Continuous improvement in all areas is our way of working. We prioritize nature, people, and the communities around us. The company takes 100% responsibility for its process, from sourcing the berry raw materials to the final products. This ensures high quality and also sustainability at every step of the process.
Ecological process
At Aromtech, respecting nature is a core value. The berry extracts in Membrasin® products are produced using a CO2- extraction method. This method is extremely environmentally friendly as it only uses circulated carbon dioxide, the same gas we exhale, and no chemicals are added to the oils. The process is part of the circular economy, as it recovers berry seeds from juice-industry waste and channels the nutrient-rich extraction residue back into food and feed. As a company we are also fully committed to being carbon neutral by 2035.
Vegan
All our products are vegan, and we do not handle any substances of animal origin at our factory. This means that our products are suitable for most people. The capsule shell is made from starch ie., unlike many dietary supplements, it is not gelatin. Additionally, we are cruelty-free and seek alternative methods to the safety testing methods required by the authorities.
